Douglas Schwartz holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication and lives in Northern California, where he crafts stories inspired by the bedtime tales he once told his daughters during their childhood.

Each night, Douglas would spin imaginative adventures featuring a beloved character named Mr. Hamster. These spontaneous, heartwarming tales fueled his daughters’ imaginations, provided a safe escape from nightmares, and turned bedtime into a cherished ritual. His storytelling didn’t just end when the lights went out—it carried his daughters into dream-filled nights of wonder and adventure.

Now, with his daughters grown and raising families of their own, Douglas has been called upon once more to reignite the magic of bedtime storytelling for a new generation—his six grandchildren. Recognizing the importance of reading to children before bed, he decided to create The Dreamland Sagas, a series of whimsical adventures designed to inspire imagination and foster a love of reading.

The series introduces readers to Harper, Remy, and Millie, three charming vintage mice who embark on unforgettable adventures. These delightful characters are destined to become treasured companions for young readers—memories to be passed down and cherished by future generations, not only as stories but as lifelong friends.
